Maria Walter Dahlin
Country Manager & Executive Producer - Meta Film Stockholm
Maria Dahlin runs the start-up of Meta Film and SAM production in Sweden and acts as Country Manager & Executive Producer. Maria has been CEO for several production companies and has more than 15 years’ experience in the film industry.
Maria started her career with the popular TV-series Wallander and the film Beyond (Svinalängorna) by Pernilla August. She has produced Becoming Astrid (Unga Astrid), the acclaimed film adaptation about the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren, which was nominated for six Guldbagge awards and she received a Guldbagge award for best film in 2016 for The Giant (Jätten). She was executive producer for Academy nominated The Hundred-Year-Old Man who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared and four-times Guldbagge-award winner Call Girl.
