Mille Haynes

Story editor Mille Haynes has been a permanent part of Meta Film since 2019, working on a variety of projects including Søren Sveistrup’s high end crime epos THE CHESTNUT MAN for Netflix. Haynes recently joined the team of publishing editors at Politikens Forlag, too, exploring new ways to bring stories to life in different formats spanning documentary films, fiction features, tv series and now also fiction novels, and adaptations between literature and cinema. Mille holds a 5-year MA in Film & Media Studies from the University of Copenhagen and is an EAVE producer postgraduate. Previous engagements include curator for Future Shorts, commissioning editor for DFI / Filmworkshop, head of CPH:LAB at CPH:DOX and of Berlinale Talents Script Station in Berlin, as well as being creative producer on a number of documentaries and experimental films.
